THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
The Science Students’ Council is a proud supporter of the Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario. The Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for out-of-town families of seriously ill or injured children who are in London receiving medical treatment for their child. A small staff with big hearts, complemented by hardworking volunteers sees to it that children and families have the comfort and support they need. They take care of the small things so parents can focus on what is most important – their child.
As apart of the Faculty of Science, you have an opportunity to help! Once a week Science Students’ Council brings a group of volunteers to RMH London to participate in their Saturday night baking groups. As a part of this volunteer trip, you and up to 9 of your friends can come to RMH London with an SSC committee member to bake a recipe of your choice. Your delicious treat will ultimately be given to RMH families the next day.
