THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

The Science Students’ Council is a proud supporter of the Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario. The Ronald McDonald House provides a home-away-from-home for out-of-town families of seriously ill or injured children who are in London receiving medical treatment for their child. A small staff with big hearts, complemented by hardworking volunteers sees to it that children and families have the comfort and support they need. They take care of the small things so parents can focus on what is most important – their child.

"STUDENTS CAN'T ALWAYS DONATE MONEY, BUT THEY CAN ALWAYS

DONATE TIME."

The Charity Committee organizes monthly visits to the Ronald McDonald House to prepare brunch or dinner for the families as well as organizes programming for the children staying at the house. Students from all faculties are welcome to participate. Group visits to the House foster great bonding experiences and are a great way for Sophs to spend time with their Frosh. Sign up through the Ronald McDonald House Group Volunteer Form.
