THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB
The Science Students' Council is proud to partner with the Boys and Girls Club of Londonㅡ a non-profit after-school charity that provides activities for children, youth and seniors in the greater London community. Their programs are planned to provide children and youth with fun activities that also teach life skills like leadership. By promoting physical health, mental health, and emotional well-being they help children and youth reach their full potential.
If you choose to donate your time to the Boys and Girls Club of London through Science Student Council you will help the staff to facilitate activities for children after school:
Indoor sports such as soccer and basketball, crafts, cooking, music activities, tutoring, science experiments, free play and computer work.
Each B&G Club activities night is split into three rotations. In each rotation the children will choose one of the offered activities and you will be assigned to supervise based on need and/or your preferred activity.
