The SSC's capstone videography project this year is Dear First Year Me, a short film/documentary that follows a first-year student (maybe you!) around the most exciting year of your life.

What's in it for you?

You'll have the chance to look back on a time capsule of your first year of university, captured through an authentic lens.

What does the commitment look like?

We’re asking for 2-4 hours monthly from October to April where we’ll sit down for monthly confessionals, brief filming sessions, and for you to send us the photos and videos you take in your day-to-day life.

This is a year-long project, and we’re so excited to share this experience with you.

Is the application process lengthy?

No! We'd love to get to know you through an initial application, which is composed of 3 short video clip responses. Successful applicants will be contacted further via email.
